USCIS announces 3 months processing times for Waivers filed through lockbox

Recent news as of 8/2/2012 USCIS announces their goal to process waivers within 3 months! This new Procedure is called “Centralized filings for Waivers” – No more travelling to submit your Waiver or long waits for an appointment to file.  Immediately after a Consular Immigrant Visa Appointment, we are able to file All Waivers and have them processed immediately. Current wait time is 5 weeks based on our experience.
