Recent news as of 8/2/2012 USCIS announces their goal to process waivers within 3 months! This new Procedure is called “Centralized filings for Waivers” – No more travelling to submit your Waiver or long waits for an appointment to file.  Immediately after a Consular Immigrant Visa Appointment, we are able to file All Waivers and have them processed immediately. Current wait time is 5 weeks based on our experience. Many have been waiting to hear about the Provisional Waivers proposed in January.  But, no further information on this policy has been released since its commentary period.
